Royal Rumble Cash Game

04 January 2017 - 10:27 PM

We've done this for a couple of years now (although last year it was just me and Jeremy).

Who wants in this year?

We can discuss the price but last year we did £10 entry. Would be good to get a few people involved!

Random.org generation will determine the entrant numbers on each team. The wrestlers that come out in the Royal Rumble match on those numbers will be your wrestlers for the game.

The poster that accumulates the most points with their entry numbers will win.

Your wrestler eliminates someone from the Rumble - +2 point
Your wrestler eliminates a surprise entrant or non-full-time roster member from the Rumble - +3 points
Your wrestler reaches the final four of the Rumble - +5 points
Your wrestler reaches the final three of the Rumble - +6 points
Your wrestler reaches the final two of the Rumble - +8 points
Your wrestler wins the Rumble - +10 points

Note: If, for example, your wrestler wins the Rumble, they will not receive the points for being in the final four or three, but they will receive the points for the final 2. Winner: 18pts, Runner-up: 8pts, etc.

Bonus Points:

Your wrestler eliminates a current champion (any title) - +1 bonus point
Your wrestler is female - +2 bonus points
Your wrestler is making a main roster or WWE debut - +3 bonus points
Your wrestler participated in another match on the main Royal Rumble show (not pre-show or dark) - +2 bonus points

Your wrestler gets eliminated and then returns to the ring to eliminate another wrestler - +3 bonus points
Your wrestler is a surprise/unannounced/non-full-time roster member entrant - +4 bonus points
Your wrestler eliminates the most people from the Rumble - +5 bonus points
Your wrestler lasts the longest amount of time in the Rumble - +5 bonus points

Time Points:

Your wrestler is in the match for over 10 minutes - +1 point
Your wrestler is in the match for over 20 minutes - +2 point
Your wrestler is in the match for over 30 minutes - +3 points
Your wrestler is in the match for over 40 minutes - +4 point
Your wrestler is in the match for over 50 minutes - +5 points
Your wrestler is in the match for over 60 minutes - +6 point

Minus Points:

Your wrestler is eliminated before the next entrant gets to the ring - -1 point
Your wrestler is eliminated without making an elimination - -2 points

Your wrestler eliminates their regular stable-mate - -3 points
Your wrestler eliminates their regular tag team partner - -4 points
Your wrestler is eliminated off camera - -5 points

Smackdown to go LIVE!

SMACKDOWN to Feature Distinct Roster and Storylines

NEW YORK and STAMFORD, CONN – May 25, 2016 — USA Network, the exclusive cable home to WWE’s marquee properties, announced that its weekly SMACKDOWN show will air live – for the first time ever – and move to Tuesdays every week beginning July 19 from 8-10PM ET/PT. With the SMACKDOWN move, USA Network will now offer five hours of live WWE programming a week, including the weekly three-hour live WWE MONDAY NIGHT RAW (airing Mondays from 8-11PM ET/PT), with each show featuring a distinct cast, unique storylines and a dedicated writing team.

In 2016 to date, MONDAY NIGHT RAW is averaging 4.011MM total viewers, 1.873MM P25-54 and 1.846MM P18-49 L7, and SMACKDOWN in its current time slot is averaging 2.674MM P2+, 1.136MM P25-54, and 1.058MM P18-49+ L7, making USA the #1 cable entertainment network across the key demos on Monday and Thursday nights. In 2015, the two programs combined reached over 50MM viewers. Both shows will now air live 52 weeks a year.

“The fan base for our WWE shows is one of the most passionate and engaged audiences in all of entertainment,” said Chris McCumber, President, Entertainment Networks, NBCUniversal Cable Entertainment. “There is a huge appetite among our viewers for live programming, and the ability to move SMACKDOWN to a live format brings a new level of excitement and helps truly eventize this every week.”

“WWE’s flagship programs will both leverage the incredible depth of our talent roster, distinct storylines and the unpredictable nature of live TV,” said WWE Chairman & CEO Vince McMahon. “This move will undoubtedly build more excitement and deepen engagement with our fans around the world.”

I think it's been long over due for Smackdown to go live. I feel they should have done this during the original brand split. They needed to put the two in an internal war against each other for ratings.

Hopefully this can happen now with the new Brand Split.

So when does he pop up in WWE now he's retired? haha
