Website stock market game Sign up inside!

Alright so here's a new idea I conjured up for a game. The idea is that you "buy" and "sell" websites based on their respective traffic ranks. The idea is to buy a site as it is starting to get popular and then sell it at the peak of its popularity. For example, it would have been wise to buy YouTube around the end of 2006 as it was starting to creep into the top 100 and then sell it about a year ago as it reached spot #3. The official ranking that will be used for this is Alexa's Global Top 500 (Only top 500 sites may be used)
http://www.alexa.com/topsites/global;0
Everyone that plays the game automatically starts with 1,000 points. The formula for purchasing each site will be as follows:
502-Traffic Rank
Therefore a site that ranks very high, say 2nd overall, would cost 502-2 or 500 points. A low ranking site, say 497th overall, would cost 502-497 or 5 points. As your website moves up or down the ranks, you gain or lose points. Any website that falls below the 500 threshold is automatically ranked 501 for statistical purchases. So if you buy a website at #486 and it fall to #537 the next day, you would only lose 15 points (501-486). You can still keep websites that fall below 500, but once you sell the site it would be taken off of the market (until it reaches the top 500 again). You can buy and sell a website any number of times a day, but rankings are only tabulated daily. Additionally, you may trade any website and/or points for any other website and/or points with another user(s), but all parties involved must give confirmation before the trade goes through. User rankings are a combination of total points currently held and total value of websites held. A website's present value is always 502 - its current ranking. However, when selling and trading, you may buy a website from another player for more than it is worth. For example, you could buy website #475 for 100 points from another player if you see the potential for long-term gain in this website. There is certainly a lot of strategy involved in the game, especially when dealing with seasonal businesses. For example, it would probably be wise to purchase a website like nfl.com in April or May and then sell it when its traffic reaches its annual peak around the Super Bowl in February. To give further clarification, let's run a fictitious 3-player game with Bill, Jim, and Ted.
August 1, 2010

Jim-1,000 Points
Ted-1,000 Points

Reread the rules, Ollie. You can't afford them all. Right now you only have:
#66 - Youporn.com - Cost = 456 Points
#96 - Tube8.com - Cost = 426 Points
The next highest ranked one is #149 - youjizz.com, but you can't afford that with a balance of only 118 points. Your next purchase must be ranked #384 or lower. The highest ranked site that meets that criterion is #413 - slutload.com - Cost = 89 Points
You now have 29 points left and can purchase any other site ranked #473 or lower.

King, its 502 minus the site ranking. #500 costs 2, #499 costs 3, #498 costs 4, etc. And yes all sites are Global, not locally, to simplify things. It's based on 3 month average by default, so you won't see a site jump from #450 to #5 overnight.
SrH
------------------------
SrH purchases last.fm (#399) valued at 103, last.fm now valued at 105 (#397)
SrH purchases TMZ.com (#403) valued at 99, TMZ.com now valued at 100 (#402)

All confirmed, but justin.tv is ranked #442, not #339. Make sure you use the top 500 list that I linked to to get the exact number because rankings are different from Alexa's special traffic rank formula. Because of the misunderstanding, you actually have 105 points remaining in your account in addition to the purchases you have made.
