In the UK there's this coupon thing where you get certain deals on all sorts of things. Today I had an email through saying that there's a 92% discount offer on a Web Design Course. It will cost me £49/$81 for the below course where they advertise it as saving £550/$919.

I just wanted to know what you guys think about it. Do you think it looks worthwhile? I mean the price is really good for what I'm getting. I'm sure it's not usually the price they advertise but i still think £49 is really good for some basic knowledge.

Here's the link to the website which offers the course: http://web.excelwithbusiness.com/

Just teach yourself. There's plenty of tutorials online.

Some people prefer structured learning...Oracle offers a similar experience for a little more, but I have heard of Oracle...the big concern is did they just take all the online tutorials out there and charge for them...

Yeah I think with a structured learning guide it might help me, plus whenever you spend money, you're more likely to use the product haha. It might motivate me more knowing I paid for it.

Tough decision! I still don't know what to do!

The Syllabus mentioned Dreamweaver:

An overview of some of the more popular software used to build websites. Using Adobe Dreamweaver and the benefits of doing so. Creating and editing a basic web page plus a breakdown of each individual component and the process behind it. Using browser plugins (Inspectors) to better understand the composition of a web page.

That's an Adobe program, it's not a cheap thing...I don't know if they have the rights to give trials of it or if you have to buy it...

I wouldn't be surprised if it's just video's showing you what to do with no actual demo. I can easily get my hands on these programs if need be tho :shifty:
