I still use an old slider phone w/ a keyboard, Kyle.
I just can't see paying the extra to be on the internet when I'm on the computer 24/7 anyway.
I had a WebOS phone until a few months ago when I bought a $20 Android ZTE 992 and a $50 Lumia 520. I just couldn't get used to the small screen on the android and the 4" screen on the Lumia is nice especially since it comes with a GPS Unit built into it for Free. Anyways the point, I don't have data.
I use an ATT MVNO called h2o Wireless, who are owned by O2. They give me 2000 "minutes" for $100 and it costs 5 cent a text 5 cent a minute 10 cent a picture message and I can use any ATT phone or unlocked phone, the network is even 4G where ATT is. I paid $15 for the simcard from their site, ported the number and off I went. I can use data at 10 cent a megabyte though, but I have WiFi everywhere, there is WiFi at McD's, the Grocer and even Home Improvement stores like Lowes, why do I need data? Plus, no contract.
Now back on topic, I would dump my Windows Phone for a low cost 5" phone, I can't stand these small screens that come on the iPhone. My cousin is all about the iPhone but I don't see the appeal of the smaller screen and I don't like their locked down state, I can do whatever with Android even if Google is against it, with Apple everything is approved by apple, Google Chrome and company can't even get on it, sure there is a Chrome app, but it is forced to use an older Apple Safari engine. I'd take one though, don't get me wrong, I just don't like the size. I love Apple's OS X, can't afford it but love it, I think I just don't like iOS's no customization features.
